Accounting data sources like QuickBooks and Xero allow you to split certain reports by class, category, or department (also known as location).
Here's how to build a block on any board with this data:
From any dashboard:
- Bring into edit mode
- Add a blank table and click the pencil icon to edit the table
- Navigate to either Xero or QuickBooks Online
- Select the filter icon on the right side of your Profit and Loss report
- Select the class, category, or department you'd like to work with
Your Profit and Loss is now filtered by category. You should see this reflected in the metrics you add to each block. Repeat this process to combine data from classes into the same block.
